Extreme Weather Film and Climate Discussion

  • Hastings Museum 1320 North Burlington Avenue Hastings, NE, 68901 United States (map)

Weather has always been one of the most dynamic and complex forces shaping our planet, but now it’s intensifying in varied and complex ways. National Geographic's Extreme Weather takes us to the frontlines of the battle against climate change. For one night only Hastings Environmental Action Team (HEAT) and the Hastings Museum have teamed up to let you see the effects of climate change first hand for just $5 (Normally $8) paid at the door. We will watch the Extreme Weather film on the Leid SuperScreen Theater followed by a discussion with several expert speekers. Please RSVP on this event page so we know how many people to expect. Should be a very fun and educational evening!
